Being the responsible person for all the regulatory compliance and maintenance for 4 production plants running 24/7 ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum. PSSR, ATEX, SIS, COMAH, PUWER, DSEAR, LOLER etc. all fall under my remit.• Developing maintenance plans on site critical equipment and to prevent any unexpected site downtime as well as having measures in place such as critical spares to reduce downtime further.• Managing a maintenance budget of £6million a year and managing CAPEX project work, I have a sound understanding of managing this monthly and working out ways to reduce our spend where we can. As well as developing a 5-year plan with future planning of site operations and improvements.• Working with my Asset Care Engineers we are completing plant RBMs and identifying site critical spares and adding these to stock inventory as well as adding items to preventative and planned maintenance worksheets to ensure health of equipment.• I have a strong working relationship with the maintenance, operational and project teams onsite and liaise with them regularly to make sure they understand the jobs and scopes that are coming up to make sure that the work is carried out as safely and effectively as possible.• Liaising and engaging with strategic contractors and specialists to support with work where needed and incorporating some of their views on improvements where needed
