About Matthew Rowe

Matt is President and a member of the Board of Directors of Ruder Ware, a business law firm with offices in Wausau, Eau Claire, and Green Bay, Wisconsin. He focuses his legal practice on advising business entities and their owners and managers regarding a wide range of transactional matters, including corporate finance and securities, commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and related acquisition financings. Matt also has significant experience representing banks and other financial institutions in connection with corporate, acquisition, and regulatory matters. His recent transactional experience includes-Representation of several companies in connection with meeting SEC periodic reporting obligations, including companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange-Representation of financial institutions in connection with branch sale and acquisition transactions, as well as financial institution sale and acquisition transactions that were structured as mergers and other stock transactions-Representation of a bank holding companies in connection with the organization of de novo state banks and the related offering of securities necessary for capitalization-Representation of privately-held companies in connection with sales of assets to both public and private acquisition companies-Representation of issuers in connection with private and public offerings of equity and debt securities-Representation of borrowers, lenders, and loan participants in connection with financing transactions involving both secured and unsecured and senior and subordinated debt-Representation of family-owned businesses in connection with a wide variety of general corporate matters.Matt spent more than 10 years on the Board of Directors of Aspirus, Inc, a health system headquartered in Wausau, Wisconsin, that delivers comprehensive health care services through a network of hospitals and other medical facilities located in north central Wisconsin and upper Michigan. He concluded his tenure with Aspirus by serving a two-year term as Chairman of the Board.Matt also serves as President and a Director of the Dan Storey Foundation, Inc, and as a Director and Treasurer of the Victor and Helen Geisel Foundation, Inc, two private philanthropic foundations headquartered in Wausau, Wisconsin.
