With over 20 years of experience, I have had the opportunity to explore the breadth of the software engineering discipline. From hands-on full stack engineering and architecting complex systems to growing and leading multiple teams to working directly with clients and stakeholders, I’m comfortable in all aspects of modern software design, development, and deployment.Throughout this time, I have taken paths less traveled by typical software engineers that led me to client proposals, financial management of software projects, and sales cycles. These experiences added depth to my engineering skills and broadened my perspective on the practical nature and the human side of software. Consequently, I’m as comfortable in the client\'s boardroom presenting technology as I am in the scrum discussing patterns and integrations.In addition to a deeply technical background and a penchant for client interaction, I spent the past 10 years in various leadership roles helping shape and execute technology strategy. I can step out of the code and realize the bigger picture of software development, the direct impact on the organization, and technology as the engine driving enterprise progress.I have a passion for building and growing teams, place a large emphasis on the practicality of software, and simply love the crafting and engineering of software systems.
