About Matthew Robinson
I am an Executive Director within JPMorganChase\'s Corporate Strategy team. Before JPMorgan, I worked across fintech, payments and insurance as a Senior Manager at Bain & Company. I completed my MBA at Chicago Booth in June 2018 - prior to this, I was a lawyer at King & Wood Mallesons in Australia, focusing on debt capital markets, securitization and derivatives. I am passionate about financial services and financial regulation.MY FINANCIAL SERVICES JOURNEYI have been passionate about financial services for a long time. I tried to start my own bank as an 8 year-old. After constructing an ATM out of a cardboard box, I asked my dad for $50 so that I could dispense cash from the ATM. In hindsight, I understood financial intermediation pretty well. But my business strategy needed some work. In addition to providing legal and strategy advice to financial institutions in my day job, I enjoy keeping informed on the latest thinking on financial system and regulatory design.
