A two year scheme on the \'Impact: The Local Government Graduate Programme\'. First placement (8 months) was in HR and Organisational Development. Achievements: created role and recruited the council\'s first Freedom to Speak Up Guardian, contributed to 2024 EDI Report, rolled out new employment assistant programme to staff across the district, ran and promoted wellbeing events, supported recruitment of HR Business Partner roles.Second placement (8 months) is in Children\'s Strategy and Innovation. Gaining strategic oversight and project management experience for implementing government reforms. Also, leading a project working at building a trauma informed movement in Wakefield Council and across the district.
