ABOUT MATTHEW RATNESAR

I currently serve as the U.S. Chief Executive Officer of Silentium Defense, where I’m responsible for standing up and leading the company’s sovereign U.S. defense business. At its core, my work is about trust — trust with customers, with partners, and most importantly with the people who rely on these systems in real-world operations. I’ve spent my career operating at the intersection of technology, mission, and leadership, and I’ve learned that advanced capability only matters if it is usable, resilient, and aligned to the realities on the ground. My background spans more than three decades across U.S. Special Operations and the defense technology industry. That experience shaped how I lead today: practical, accountable, and focused on outcomes. I care deeply about building teams that are credible, empowered, and mission-driven and organizations that do what they say they will do.At Silentium Defense, my focus is on building the right foundation first: governance, security, people, and culture. From there, we scale thoughtfully delivering passive sensing and counter-UAS capabilities that provide real advantage in contested environments and support U.S. and allied missions.I’m proud of the work ahead and grateful for the opportunity to help build something that matters.
