Project manager on hangar upgrade task order for the Air Force under AENEXT contract. Design manager for USACE Savannah Task Order. Fire protection engineer for multiple projects for NAVFAC involving Ultra High Speed Suppression systems. Consulting to multiple clients regarding Fire Protection Systems and replacements because of PFAS and what that replacement process looks like. Assisted in the managing of the NAVFAC MIDLANT Fire Protection IDIQ, delivering multiple task orders for NAVFAC. GHD provided multi discipline designs to support fire protection upgrade projects at multiple installations in the Norfolk area and beyond. Providing Quality Control Fire Protection oversight multiple construction projects. Delivering these services as independent 3rd party to the general contractor while coordinating between fire alarm contractors, sprinkler contractors, general contractor and NAVFAC. Designed an grate nozzle system for an existing NAVFAC Hangar utilizing a water operated proportioning pump to accommodate the existing facility. Given the challenges of an existing system, the hangar was divided into six separate zones, each with their own automatic alarms, manual alarms and abort stations. Designed also included replacement of the dry sprinklers with a wet pipe system, new water supply line, hangar bay drainage and containment tank. Project also included structual repairs to the building, repairs of the sliding hangar bay doors, 400hz electrical upgrades, HVAC upgrades, compressed air upgrades. Designed Fire Alarm and Sprinkler replacements for Navy Research Laboratory. Designed Fire Alarm replacements for George Mason University.
