Technical knowledge and experience with AutoCAD software and CAD standards and drafting techniques. • Works with Engineers and Project Managers to develop plan and profile civil drawings for underground utility designs by developing utility base maps, determine the line of lay, and method of construction installation per client’s standards and in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices. • Utilize AutoCAD software to create base maps by manipulating survey data, establishing the public right-of-way, applying location of existing above and underground utilities from atlases/record drawings received from clients and other municipality processes. • Maintains design and engineering standards via QA/QC process. Works closely with other utility agencies and contractors. Details to include all views and dimensions necessary for construction.
