   As the Director of Clinical Placement, I oversee the Office of Clinical Placement and Contracts, ensuring efficient administration of student clinical placements across various programs, including BSN, RN-BSN, AMNP, MSN, and DNP. My role is integral to maintaining alignment with accreditation standards and the National Task Force on Quality Nurse Practitioner Education guidelines.Key responsibilities include leading a team of Clinical Placement Managers, fostering collaboration with faculty, preceptors, clinic administrators, and students. I manage clinical resources, ensuring diverse clinical sites that meet core curriculum guidelines and program objectives. I oversee the development and maintenance of clinical site databases and contracts, approving student documentation and managing faculty/student orientation requirements. Additionally, I ensure effective communication with clinical agencies and the University Contracts team.My role also involves maintaining records and data to support accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and State Boards of Nursing. I coordinate faculty and student access to electronic medical records and other patient care systems at clinical sites.I actively participate in preceptor recruitment and retention activities, ensuring compliance with the Alabama Preceptor Tax Incentive Program (APTIP). I generate reports and provide data for decision-making and accreditation purposes. I lead agency updates and evaluate clinical agencies in collaboration with the Assistant Deans and Program Directors.Proficient in ACEMAPP and Microsoft Office (OneNote, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), I bring strong expertise in communication, customer service, team leadership, and relationship building.
