As a Public Administration Intern for the Town of Wendell I am responsible for updating the Town of Wendell\'s Safety Policy, participating in downtown property identification and evaluation, engaging in community event planning, and ultimately finding opportunities to learn across all areas of municipal governance. As an intern I have the opportunity to shadow various municipal departments such as Planning, Police, Finance, and Parks and Recreation. Additionally, I have the opportunity to observe various departmental meetings and Town Board meetings.

Hello, I am a motivated individual seeking a public administration role in local government, public management, or the non-profit sector. I earned my Bachelors degree from Appalachian State University where I majored in Political Science with a concentration in Public Administration. Additionally, I also double minored in Communications and Sustainable Development. I have a desire to serve the public and I am also passionate about the well-being of the environment. I am continuing my academic career and pursuing my Masters in Public Administration at Appalachian State University.
