About Matthew Peery

I recently successfully completed a PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency and have started in my role as a Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in VCU Health\'s Hematology Clinic. In this position, I hope to be able to educate my patients on the medications being used to treat them, manage any adverse events they experience, aide in acquiring their medications, and provide additional support as they undergo treatment. In addition to serving my patients, I hope to educate other healthcare providers, pharmacy residents and future pharmacy students about the role a pharmacist can and does play on a healthcare team.
