My role covers technical training, support and sales and product development in track surveying and construction.In the field, I demonstrate, advise and train on the use of Trimble\'s GEDO CE trolley / track measuring device (TMD) for railway surveying, setting out and as-built reporting. Further, our track measuring device is capable of generating pre-tamp measurements very efficiently which can be uploaded into a variety of tamping machines.In the office, I present Trimble Railway Solutions to potential customers around the world. I also train end users once GEDO software has been installed.As part of my tasks, I work closely with rail contractors who install new track-bed using Trimble\'s GCS900 3D Machine Control. Including complex data prep for drainage and ballast models.My experience allows me to cover both Railway surveying and Track construction/installation and maintenance.The job takes me around the world, from Europe to Australia and North America.
