About Matthew Morrow
I’ve built my career at the intersection of business, technology, and people—starting in hospitality, where I spent six years launching and running ventures, before moving into tech sales and ultimately software development. That progression wasn’t accidental. Each step shaped how I think: start with the problem, understand the people it impacts, and build solutions that actually work in the real world. My entry into development came from necessity and interest—building tools and analyses to improve business performance. But what began as a way to answer questions quickly became something more: a passion for not just understanding systems, but for redesigning them and engaging in a path of constant improvement. It was the realization that the thread which had connected my journey through what others likely saw as distinctly different industries was a deep desire to solve problems, no matter the form they take on. Over time, that evolved into a broader perspective on technology’s role in business. We’re entering a shift where the winners won’t be the companies that simply layer AI on top of existing workflows. They’ll be the ones willing to rethink those workflows entirely—restructuring processes, redefining roles, and embracing a level of dynamism that most organizations aren’t used to. AI isn’t just a tool—it’s a forcing function. It challenges how decisions are made, how work gets done, and how organizations are designed. The real opportunity isn’t “giving everyone an assistant”—it’s building systems where intelligent agents, automation, and human judgment work together to drive outcomes in ways that weren’t previously possible. Today, I serve as Chief Technology Officer at Rockhaven Homes, where I lead our technology vision, data strategy, and internal application development. My focus is on building scalable systems, integrating AI and automation into core business processes, and helping the organization adapt to a rapidly changing landscape. At the core of everything I do is a simple goal: use technology not just to optimize what exists, but to fundamentally rethink what’s possible.
