20+years in the finance and banking industry, throughout the Southeastern United States. Have had lead roles in credit analysis, loan review, special assets, lending, operations, finance, sales, contract negotiation, risk assessment, lease negotiations, lawsuit settlements, mediation, REO, management, depository functions, and portfolio management; which ultimately led to being the CEO & President of a community bank in Birmingham AL. Have worked with vendors, attorneys, regulators, shareholders, board members, and employees on items that benefit both the entity I work for and third parties. Have spearheaded the acquisition of assets and the sale of said properties through listings as well as auctions. Have taken continuing education to better understand compliance, IT, personnel management and other areas that aren’t touched in a regular basis within the job descriptions. Have written a strategic plan and mapped out the budget for my employer and understand forecasting and balance sheet strategies. Ultimately seeking to work at an entity that values relationships with its customers, allows for innovative ideas on how to handle weaknesses, and strives to do what is right while maintaining excellence in terms of profitability and solvency.
