About Matthew Moon
I am currently a Vice President of Investor Relations with Bellwether, a private real estate capital advisory firm based in El Segundo, CA. I focus on our largest manager\'s credit strategy, bringing my previous experience at Prime Finance to bear. Previously, I was a member of the Client Strategy Group at Makena Capital Management, managing institutional relationships and fundraising across the firm\'s private equity, venture capital, and real asset fund offerings. Over my career, I have combined the technical skills necessary to analyze complex investment concepts across both public and private asset classes with the strong interpersonal skills necessary to articulate value to investors. With an institutionalized foundation built at Merrill Lynch, I take a consultative approach to fundraising and relationship management, while implementing disciplined and sustainable processes for my teams. My passion for the capital markets was sparked while earning a BA in Economics, with minors in Mathematics and Philosophy from Boston College.
