About Matthew Molloy
Matthew Molloy is a board-certified pediatric hospitalist and clinical informaticist. Dr. Molloy serves as the Associate Chief Medical Information Officer for Inpatient at Cincinnati Children\'s Hospital, helping to lead information technology initiatives in the inpatient setting at one of the world’s largest pediatric health systems. He is the founding Medical Director of the Clinical Informatics Collaborative Innovation Lab, contributing to innovative clinical information systems solutions that have improved hospital flow, research recruitment, and patient outcomes. Clinically, Dr. Molloy works as an attending physician in Hospital Medicine. Dr. Molloy is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics with appointments in the Divisions of Hospital Medicine, Biomedical Informatics, and the James M Anderson Center for Health Systems Excellence.Dr. Molloy is dedicated to building a pipeline of physician clinical informaticists to support digital transformation in healthcare. He has helped lead the expansion of CCHMC’s Clinical Informatics Fellowship program as Associate Program Director and he co-directs the Epic Provider Builder Program to engage providers in improvement work within the EHR. Nationally, Dr. Molloy is an elected member of Epic’s pediatric hospital medicine steering board and an active collaborator on the grant-funded Pediatric Clinical Decision Support Collaborative. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications with recognized expertise in clinical decision support, quality improvement, and health services research.
