As the appointed Director for the Purdue Computes Initiative, it is my privilege to facilitate connections that position Purdue University at the forefront of technological innovation and education. Anchored by four pivotal pillars (computing, physical artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and quantum science and engineering) the Purdue Computes Initiative aims to elevate Purdue’s already distinguished programs and create new pathways for interdisciplinary collaboration across our high-tech sectors.This initiative includes Semiconductors@Purdue, a sweeping, university-wide effort launched in 2022 to position Purdue University as a national leader in semiconductor education, research, and industry collaboration.Ranked the No. 5 Most Innovative University in the United States by U.S. News & World Report, Purdue University continuously delivers world-changing research and out-of-this-world discovery.
