ABOUT MATTHEW MCGOWAN

Since 2007, Matthew McGowan has grown within the education industry. His passion for learning and helping others learn has led him to be a top Admissions Representative within his company. Furthermore, his degree from Berks Technical Institute has allowed him to excel and relate to students. Additionally, his Bachelor\'s Degree from Miller-Motte College has helped him to relate and respond to the growing demand of the job market. After graduating from Berks Technical Institute and gaining an interest in higher education, Matt decided to enter into the industry which led him to the role of Admissions Representative. Shortly after in 2008, his skill set and passion led him to the role of Lead Admissions Representative. In this position, he became one of the top five Admissions Representatives in the entire Pennsylvania region. For this, in 2010, he was awarded the Century Club Admissions Individual Award. In 2010, Matt moved into the role of Assistant Director of High School Admissions. This position gave Matt experience in a leadership role as well as gaining a better understanding of both High School and Adult Admissions. In the beginning of 2013, Matt was given the opportunity to return to his career passion - Adult Admissions as Senior Admissions Representative.Later in 2013, Matt took the opportunity to transition into a Senior Rep role at Delta\'s Online Division. It has always been his goal to relocate to Phoenix, Arizona and it has finally become a reality. After proven performance in this new position and becoming the number two rep in the whole company, Matt was given the opportunity to take on the role of Assistant Director of Admissions. In October 2014, Matt took upon the role of Director of Admissions where he is leading Delta\'s new Appointment Setting Team initiative. This experience and educational background coupled with his excellent communication and interpersonal skills makes him a great leader in education.
