Director of Business Development for Capital Power\'s US Renewables team, responsible for identifying, evaluating and managing development opportunities for greenfield generation projects, as well as the acquisition of existing facilities or advanced development opportunities. Experience includes the successful permitting and financing of the 270 MW K2 Wind project in Ontario; development and construction of the 15 MW Beaufort Solar facility in North Carolina; acquisition and development of the 178 MW Bloom Wind project in Kansas; development and financing of the 150 MW Cardinal Point Wind project in Illinois; and purchase and integration of a portfolio of 14 U.S. wind and solar projects from Element Power. Capital Power (CPX:TSX) is a growth-oriented North American power producer headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, which owns more than 6,500 megawatts of power generation capacity at 28 facilities across North America. The company develops, acquires, operates and optimizes power generation from a variety of energy sources.
