   Strategic partnership with new managers and leaders focused around employee relations and training matters, helping guide and support them through difficult situations- Expanded role to be a trusted resource for employees in handling personnel matters, personal issues, benefits questions, and other sensitive situations- Advised and assisted with creating company compensation structure including salary bands, job levels, and job families, resulting in more consistent job offers, clarity around professional growth paths for current employees, and greater transparency regarding compensation- Researched and established new relationships with technology and benefits partners to bring improvements to the quality of People Operations performance management, benefit offerings, and greater access to outside resources, often negotiating substantial reductions in fees resulting in significant cost savings to the company- Brought the department and company into alignment regarding statutory reporting and auditing requirements resulting in no late or missed reports or audits- Ownership of everything visa-related, successfully hiring forty-one new hires requiring TN, J-1, O-1, E-3, and H-1B visas and improving response times to candidate and employee questions and issues- Partnered with the HR Director to greatly improve benefit offerings to the company, negotiating new plans with carriers to offer increased coverage and greater availability of services and care, such as increasing access to coverage regarding transitioning and infertility, resulting in increased plan participation among staff- Successfully initiated, led, and completed projects of significant importance to the department and company, such transitioning to a new 401k record keeper and instituting a new HRIS and payroll system, on-time, on or under budget, and without issue.
