This year I launched my weekly syndicated newspaper column on crime and punishment distributed by GateHouse News Media. The syndicated column is only a component of a writing portfolio that includes monthly contributions to The Pennsylvania Law Weekly, the Youngstown Vindicator and regular contributions to The Crime Report. I write a blog,\"The Cautionary Instruction\" that appears every Friday at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.com. My personal blog is updated every day. I have published op-eds in The Washington Post, Philadelphia Inquirer, Cleveland Plain Dealer, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Harrisburg Patriot News and Morning Call.
