Responsible for the administration and management of Choice Neighborhoods projects across 11 U.S Cities, with emphasis on the “People” component, which includes the provision of social services for public housing residents-Analyze complex community problems, develop national strategies and present technical and complex solutions for senior management and high-level officials-Provision of technical assistance and capacity development support to local housing authorities, non-profits, and HUD staff responsible for the People program component of Choice Neighborhoods-Work collaboratively with federal, state, and local officials as well as public housing residents to implement both the $50 million Choice Implementation grant and the Choice Planning grant-Manage grant projects by tracking grantee performance, reviewing grantee deliverables, and providing timely and relevant technical assistance across the Housing, People, and Neighborhood components of Choice-Deliver webinars and technical assistance presentations on the topics of community and resident engagement, implementation of large-scale social services programs, and conducting resident asset & needs assessments-Manage Choice Neighborhood data, analyze quarterly reports and present findings to staff, assist Choice team members and grantees interpret and learn from their data to improve program outcomes-Apply a DEI-focused lens when working in communities systematically disadvantaged by the Federal government.
