ABOUT MATTHEW KOSLOW

As a cell biologist with years of experience, I like to think of myself as a \"Jack of All Trades\". My scientific career has granted me the opportunity to study a wide variety of diseases, and model systems throughout some of the most prestigious institutions in the United States. From generating tissue engineered organoids, to studying genetically driven cardiovascular and kidney diseases, to using radiopharmaceuticals to combat cancer, there are no technique I can\'t learn, disease model I won\'t study, and no research team where I won\'t contribute. And I am ready to learn more. Not only do I bring intellectual curiosity to the table, I am a firm believer in teamwork. We are only as great as the people we help. And throughout my career, I have been fortunate enough to lead teams of gifted undergraduate students and junior scientists with a sense of pragmatism and empathy in both the academic and private sectors. My ability to communicate complicated ideas into ways someone can understand is one of my favorite things to do.(Be prepared for a lot of food analogies). My goal in life is to lead a team of scientists to generate results in the lab that will have real world applications in curing the world\'s deadliest diseases so people can live their lives to the fullest. It is the ultimate \"why\" why a scientist does what they do. I am open to connecting with fellow scientists who share a passion for discovery, and learning of potential opportunities to bring my scientific and leadership skills to the forefront of your organization.
