ABOUT MATTHEW KLICK
Matthew Klick, PhD has over ten years of managing diverse research and evaluation activities in myriad contexts, from Myanmar and Kyrgyzstan to across East and West Africa. His goal has always been to better understand how social, political, and cultural dynamics interact to influence outcomes to make programming better. Matt intentionally brings systems thinking and complexity awareness, plus an astute political economy approach, to help \"connect the dots\" between subtle or overlooked factors. One of Matt\'s main strengths is in converting these findings into clear and concise written and verbal presentations for policymakers or other stakeholders. Matt also brings growing experience in leadership, most recently overseeing a sprawling MEL Platform for USAID. He is now hoping to crosswalk these many experiences to new sectors and help clients in political risk, sustainability, and forecasting.
