ABOUT MATTHEW JONES

As the deputy director of Marine Corps Community Services and senior leader of various programs, I have had the opportunity to manage others. Last year I transitioned from the Marine Corps after a great career. I am now searching for my next career and hope to find a company with a great culture that I can challenge myself and grow personally and professionally. My family and I have just moved to Oregon after traveling the country for almost a year. I am excited to settle down and begin working with a company that has a strong mission and values. I feel I am not your typical candidate. I have extensive experience in building strong and diverse teams. I have had success in strategic planning and managing multi-unit cost centers. I am able to solve complex problems and encourage teamwork to anticipate, prevent, and solve problems at all levels. I believe in collaboration in order to bring out the value of the entire team. Through my educational background including an MBA from Northeastern University, and my extensive leadership experience, I feel that I can add value to an organization.
