Matthew is a leading junior barrister who specialises in public law, with a particular emphasis on the police. High profile work includes the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse and the Undercover Policing Inquiry, the Hillsborough inquest, the disciplinary proceedings relating to Plebgate, Kingsley Burrell and the death of Ian Tomlinson and advising in relation to aspects of the Jimmy Savile investigation.
