Market leading provider of manufacturing solutions for complex, high-precision products and services for the Medical Device and Aerospace & Defense markets Manage 67k sq. ft. plant consisting of vertical machining centers, turning centers, Swiss, EDM, and secondary operations, leading $25MM in sales. Responsible for directing, coordinating, and managing all manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, and budget goals while maintaining a clear focus on customer needs. Administered company rules, regulations, policies and ethics governing employment for 68 direct reports including two supervisors and five leads. Provide leadership and coaching to production operations, specifically 1st and 2nd Ops supervisors and leads. Lead implementation/maintenance of production methods and tooling applications to optimize use of production hours, human resources, machines, equipment, and facilities. Conduct production meetings and participate in planning production schedules, staffing requirements, and manufacturing controls to achieve optimal product flow. Expedite scheduled production, investigate delays, and initiate corrective/preventive actions to ensure economical production through efficient procedures and processes. Observed and enforced all company rules and policies pertaining to safety, particularly related to hazardous materials and general housekeeping. Highlights Ensure FDA, ISO, Tecomet and specific customer quality standards and procedures are implemented and maintained. Drive internal/external quality, on time delivery attainment, and productivity goals.
