My Key Responsibilities are as follows:1. Operational ManagementOversee day-to-day operations, ensuring effective treatment of damp, condensation, waterproofing. rot, woodworm, and other timber-related issues. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to industry standards.Coordinate logistics, materials, and workforce allocation across multiple sites.2. Compliance & Quality AssuranceEnsure all treatments and remedial works comply with industry regulations (e.g, British Standards, PCA guidelines, Health & Safety Executive regulations).Conduct site inspections and audits to maintain high-quality workmanship and adherence to health & safety protocols.Implement risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for all projects.3. Client & Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for clients, surveyors, property developers, estate agents, housing associations and contractors.Provide advice on damp proofing, timber preservation, waterproofing and remedial treatments.Prepare and deliver reports, proposals, and quotations for clients.4. Financial & Resource ManagementDevelop budgets, monitor costs, and ensure profitability within the region.Manage pricing strategies and oversee procurement of materials.Ensure cost-effective use of labour and resources while maintaining service standards.5. Team Leadership & DevelopmentRecruit, train, and supervise surveyors, technicians, and treatment specialists.Conduct performance reviews and implement ongoing training programs to maintain expertise in the latest preservation techniques.Ensure adherence to company policies and industry best practices.6. Business Growth & StrategyIdentify new business opportunities and market trends within the damp and timber industry.Develop relationships with key stakeholders to generate leads and expand services.Contribute to marketing efforts, including partnerships with property agencies, construction firms, and local councils.
