Co-author of book \"The Better Half\"- a series of stories on the people, places and foods of Nebraska - with spouse and former World-Herald food critic Sarah Baker Hansen. Won state, regional and national awards for investigative reporting, feature writing and column writing. 2015 Great Plains Writer of the Year.
