Initially hired as the Head of Change Management to oversee the implementation of SAP (Jan 1, 2023, go-live) and Organizational Change Management, shifting local Finance teams into one global team using one global General Ledger. Upon the implementation of SAP, I assumed the role of Head of Finance Operations, responsible for overseeing the USGAAP accounting and processing of all activities related to the firm’s Balance Sheet and P&L. Upon Onex Private Equity acquiring Accredited Insurance, I assumed the role of Head of FP & A- Directly reporting into the CFO and delivering timely management reporting of actuals vs. forecast vs. budget for Insurance related P&L, as well as Operating Expenses- Liaise with cross-functional departments heads (i.e. IT, HR, Actuarial, Program Management, etc.) to coordinate the execution of planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes- Create and present reports on Technical P&L, Investments, and Operating Expenses for execs and board members- Assist in development of capital plans including surplus management, reinsurance financing, internal loans, and capital initiatives- Monitor cash projections to assist in managing intercompany receivables and payables between subsidiaries- Oversee monthly processing Payroll data, allocations of all direct expenses, and intercompany reconciliations- Coordinate with IT to automate management reporting and dashboards in SAP Cloud Analytics and Power BI- Responsible to re-design the forecast and budgeting process and source a new budgeting tool such as Anaplan- Managed a global team of 25, responsible for monthly end-to-end ledger close processes, including Insurance & Reinsurance, Investments, Payroll, Cash entries, and AP/AR & Fixed Asset sub-ledgers, in accordance with USGAAP- Performed extensive change management and finance transformation related to the installation of SAP as the firmwide General Ledger across the global offices
