As the manager of the robotics behaviours teams at Dyson I am responsible for overseeing the delivery of key milestones on projects relating to the intelligent behaviour of the robot vacuum cleaners. I have 17 engineers reporting to me, and in addition to the delivery of project work, I am also responsible for their training and development, mentoring and coaching junior engineers, as well as recruiting and growing the behaviours teams. I maintain a close relationship with the engineers, participating actively in their daily stand-ups, planning, reviews and retrospectives, as well as a bi-weekly 1:1 meeting with each engineer.\\\\n\\\\nIn addition to the management of the teams, I also contribute to ongoing work myself, most recently focusing on the motion control subsystem of the robots.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
