When I put together my first crew in Reno, Nevada at the age of 21 and then bought my first box van at 22, I never imagined that I would be leading best-in-class operations for some of the country’s biggest transportation and logistics providers. I have built and led teams ranging in size of 2-200+, with P&L responsibilities of $4M-$20M+. Built three fleets from the ground up to match increased demand from new and loyal customers. Achieved up to 400%+ revenue growth and returned operations to profitability after many years of decline. Spearheaded initiative to hire 230+ drivers and slash turnover 42%. Delivered millions in annual savings and decreased direct expenses 22% and overhead costs 16%. Founded and directed a transportation and logistics company that grew to $12M and landed multimillion-dollar accounts with military and corporate customers. Created safety-first cultures and facilitated compliance with state, federal, and international regulations.
