About Matthew Glick
I am the Founder of Matthew Glick Legal Services, a law firm for startups obsessed with providing perceptive, innovative, and relevant lawyering to our clients. I help my clients unlock new potential in their businesses and equip them for the next stage of growth.I started my legal career at Skadden Arps where I learned the art and science behind truly superior legal service. Then, as General Counsel at Fashion GPS (now LaunchMetrics), I saw things from the other side of the table. Emerging companies need solutions, not roadblocks, when they choose a law firm. It’s this unique perspective that allows my team to help our clients do more than manage risk and tackle legal. I am originally from Vancouver, BC (rain, rain, rain!), went to college in Montreal, and law school in Toronto.(Yes, I say “been” instead of “bin”.) I taught English in Tokyo, tried being a performance poet ( I was in my early 20s), and was once a copywriter for a low-budget online dating service. I love movies with superheroes and/or spaceships, jokes that are so bad it’s like getting punched in the stomach, some very bad pulp science-fiction, Einstein on the Beach, and above all my two kids and my incredible wife. I am also a long suffering NY Giants fan (aren’t we all?).
