Matthew is a Partner in Deloitte\'s Tax Management Consulting group. He has over 22 years of experience in software development, system implementation and project management; focusing on financial data management and process optimization for Finance & Tax functions. Over his career, he has led significant finance data integration and process redesign projects for leading multinational companies covering data design, system integration, financial reporting and analytics, data extraction, and electronic record retention.In this day in age “Organizations must align their operations with their legal operating model.”Matthew\'s current focus is helping his multi-national clients find balance in implementing financial systems that are both efficient for operations while also meeting the growing legal and statutory complexities for the countries in which they operate. Given the numerous new technologies available to companies today (i.e. cloud based applications, Blockchain integration with financials, data wrangling tools), what is often overlooked is the ability to record and report consistent financial accounting transactions across disparate platforms.Specifically with regards to intercompany accounting and transactions, Matthew has led numerous global projects to satisfy statutory, GAAP, IFRS and tax required functionality in SAP, PeopleSoft, JDE, and Oracle applications. He is one of Deloitte\'s thought leaders in the areas of Intercompany Solutions and Operational Transfer Pricing.
