Managing new and ongoing projects to ensure that kitchen ventilation systems are designed correctly to the latest DW/172 standards. This involves having a sound understanding of these standards and interpreting the customers requirements to offer compliant systems. The projects can have different requirement\'s which can be canopy only projects, canopy and duct system projects or full turn key system projects including controls. I need to have regular contact with our customers, contractors and sub-contractors which is done face to face, on the phone or via email. This is to ensure that all parties have a good understanding of what aspect of work we are providing. To produce detailed CAD drawings for all parties to show the works that have been designed and to minimise any potential problems that may occur during a project installation.The role also involves attending site to discuss various aspects of the project including installation methods, H&S requirements and delivering projects to programme. All of the above while keeping the customer happy with the product that we deliver with good friendly service.
