I’m driven by one core idea: great risk management doesn’t just protect value—it enables growth.I recently graduated from the University of Iowa with dual degrees in Finance and Risk Management & Insurance, and I’m now an Underwriter at FM Global, working alongside engineers and risk professionals to help some of the world’s largest organizations prevent loss before it happens. I’m especially passionate about understanding complex operational risks and translating them into actionable, data-driven underwriting decisions.Previously, I worked in M&A at Constellation Software (Andromeda Group), where I sourced and evaluated vertical market software companies—many within insurance and risk-adjacent ecosystems. Before that, I interned with Morgan Stanley’s Fowler Bull Group, supporting a ~$13B portfolio through equity research, asset allocation modeling, and client-facing analysis. Those experiences sharpened how I think about risk, capital allocation, and long-term value creation.In April, I presented at the InsurTech NY Final Four, pitching technology-driven insurance solutions in front of 900+ industry leaders—an experience that reinforced my interest in how innovation, data, and underwriting intersect.I’m energized by roles at the intersection of risk, engineering, finance, and strategy, and I’m motivated by work that is proactive, analytical, and impact-driven. I believe insurance is most powerful when it moves upstream—anticipating risk, strengthening resilience, and helping businesses operate with confidence.
