I have tried many cases to verdict, argued multiple appeals and appeared in federal and state courtrooms in twenty-two states. While I have prevailed for my clients in hundreds of cases through motion practice and verdicts, I am also well versed in a variety of alternative dispute resolutions techniques and have successfully negotiated thousands of lawsuits. Acting as national coordinating counsel for multiple clients, I am responsible for the design, coordination and implementation of my clients’ overall case resolution strategies – as well as for winning individual cases. In addition, I am frequently asked to resolve cases under adverse conditions as a specially retained “settlement counsel.” In these instances, I embrace the challenge of creating viable settlement options, even when an adverse litigation event or other challenge has made settlement unlikely. My work has received an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and has been consistently recognized by Best Lawyers in America, which named me a Lawyer of the Year in the area of Chicago Mass Tort Litigation and Class Actions-Defendants.
