A career Judge Advocate officer in the JAG Corps, U.S. Army Reserve. Currently assigned as an Associate Professor at The Judge Advocate General\'s Legal Center and School in Charlottesville, Virginia. Past assignments include Operational Law Attorney, 75th Battle Command Training Division; Trial Counsel, 1st Legal Operations Detachment; and Platoon Leader, Logistics Officer, Operations Officer, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). Key activities have included service as Acting Staff Judge Advocate for a two-star command; participation on the defense team for Guantanamo detainees in the Office of Military Commissions; drafting Army doctrine on legal operations; and providing estate planning and other legal assistance to hundreds of deploying soldiers. Graduate of Judge Advocate Officer Basic and Advanced Courses; currently enrolled in Command and General Staff College.
