My work focuses on advancing AFRC’s/NMIS\'s capabilities in microstructure characterisation, prediction, and control for additive builds and solid-state joints using rotary friction welding (RFW).I collaborate with industry and academic partners to deliver impactful projects, secure funding, and translate cutting-edge research into real-world manufacturing solutions, particularly in aerospace and advanced metallic materials.
