Matthew loved football as a kid, so got into construction as a way to build football stadiums! This has never quite happened, but along the way, Matthew has worked on site for a contractor, as a structural and then building services engineer, before finally becoming one of the UK\'s leading sustainability experts. Since setting up SCS in 2008, his passion has been to help people navigate environmental certification in construction with the minimum of fuss. He is as comfortable working with main contractors as he is with the client and design team. This understanding is invaluable when trying to cut through the green wash to get to what is important, practical and of value for all concerned.
