About Matthew Cassidy

I am a graduate of West Chester University, where I pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science in Economics and a minor in psychology. Im passionate about applied statistics, social psychology and overall economic health around the world. I acquired many skills in my journey through higher education by participating in various courses and projects with focuses on data analytics and human behavior, such as conducting a market research on consumer behavior and preferences, and doing my senior thesis on the economic impact that increased diversity has on the values of homes across Pennsylvania. In addition to my studies, I have gained valuable work experience as a teaching assistant at Ducklings Early Learning Centers from June 2022 to June 2023. There, I supported the teachers and the students in creating a positive and engaging learning environment, and demonstrated excellent customer service, teamwork, and adaptability skills. I also worked as a barista at Brickhaus Café since September 2019, where I have learned how to create high-quality products, handle customer feedback, and work under pressure. These early career choices have prepared me for any future endeavors by teaching me how to be a hard worker, a careful learner, and an excellent communicator.
