ABOUT MATTHEW BURTT
After graduation I accepted an offer with Abbott Laboratories to be part of a 2 year rotational program. The Operations Professional Developmental Program gave me the privilege of experiencing 4 high impact developmental roles varying from Operations Supervision to Quality Project Leadership. Since completing the program in the summer of 2011, I moved into a role that was responsible for the Quality Metrics and Management Review process for the Pharma R&D business unit at Abbott. This role afforded me many chances to recognize, lead and implement major process improvements spanning across diverse functional areas. As of 1-January-2013, AbbVie split from Abbott and I this afforded me significant opportunities to become involved in both the separation and transformation of AbbVie\'s Quality System. In December 2013, I was offered a chance to expand my experience into the Clinical Research and program management world. The challenges and opportunities have been exciting! During my time in Clinical QA I took an opportunity to continue my education with a Master of Business Administration from the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University of Chicago. The high-impact courses spanned over a 3 year period and I completed the degree in early 2016.I am an energetic, open and honest person, who looks forward to each new challenge in both life and work.
