ABOUT MATTHEW BROWNING P. ENG
After attaining an MEng in Civil & Environmental Engineering from The University of Liverpool, I joined the Arup Liverpool office as a Graduate Transport Planner in 2005.In 2007 I transferred to the Toronto office on a 3 month assignment to support the growing Transportation Consulting Group.I led the Transportation Master Planning team within Arup’s Consulting group, alongside a dedicated collection of engineers, planners, analysts, and designers. Working for clients, primarily in and around the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, we delivered multi-disciplinary engineering and planning services to public and private clients across all sectors and were heavily involved in many of the major transit infrastructure jobs in the region.After 16 years with Arup my family and I drove across the country to Vancouver Island where I now work as part of McElhanney’s Strategic Transportation Planning team, delivering projects all across western Canada with a focus on transportation planning on Vancouver Island.Member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE)PEng in Ontario and BC
