A square peg I\'m not. I am a systems thinker and creative problem-solver who integrates experiences across sectors and industries to build high-performing cultures and execute innovative solutions people value that have contributed over $2BB in cumulative revenues.I am dedicated to creating a more playful and humane world. Using my expertise in the science of play, I help others harness and amplify their curiosity, creativity, empathy and resilience. Over my career, I’ve invented edtech products and interactive candies, healed small and large company cultures, and led transformational placemaking of Midtown Santa Fe and Downtown San Antonio. I was a lawyer and judicial clerk in the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, been a senior executive at fast growth and public companies, started a few enterprises, consulted with Fortune 500s, led Economic Development and Land Use for Santa Fe, NM, and was CEO of Centro San Antonio creating a more playful, prosperous, beautiful and welcoming downtown. Currently I advise Kibeam Learning, Inc. after spending a year and a half as its VP of Business Development and Marketing.As a senior executive, I utilize a wide range of skills but have the most expertise in business development, brand, strategy, innovation, marketing, urban development and policymaking contributing to $2BB in revenues and serving over 100MM people via placemaking and economic development. I make darn good English toffee, which is handy at holidays. Team of Rivals, The Watchmen, Good to Great, Consolation of Philosophy and Lord Of The Rings are on my bookshelf. My daughter Izze and I are slowly visiting all 50 state capitals. 15 down and counting.
