About Matthew Anderson

Matt Anderson, a graduate of Northern Arizona University and a licensed Professional Engineer in Arizona and Tennessee, began his career as an engineering analyst at Kimley-Horn and Associates in Phoenix, AZ. Over the years, he worked on a wide range of projects, from small commercial ventures to large-scale master-planned communities and industrial developments. In December 2016, Matt relocated to North Carolina to lead a team of engineers for a national private client expanding into the Southeast. His client base has since grown to include both local and national private clients. By September 2018, Matt\'s interest in public-sector projects led him to transition into his company’s roadway group, where he gained experience with local and state government initiatives. In 2019, Matt moved to Tennessee to be closer to family, and in 2022, he joined Merus as the Director of Real Estate Development Services. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, exploring the outdoors through hiking, camping, and motorcycle riding. He also loves discovering new breweries and attending local events around Nashville. Passionate about connecting with people, Matt takes pride in helping clients achieve success with their projects.
