Conceptualized and launched in mid-2015, the GEA Project\'s mission is to bring economic literacy to young students worldwide. Since then 60+ successful young professionals in the US, Europe, and Asia have been recruited and led 12+ career development workshops, impacting high-potential students in India, Thailand, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Botswana, South Africa, Kenya, and more.Currently serve as the NYC Chapter Head where I oversee much of the recruiting, training, and workshop planning activities. Previously served as a GEA Leader and co-instructed a 4 day workshop in Bangkok, Thailand in August 2017. Also led a group of 5 GEA Leaders to Aggarwal College in Faridabad, India in August 2018 where I served as the workshop Captain for a 5 day workshop delivered to 100+ economics students. And most recently led a group of 9 GEA leaders to Starehe Boys Centre and School in Nairobi, Kenya in August 2019 where I served as a workshop Captain for a 5 day workshop delivered to 50+ high school students.Learn more here - http://geaproject.org/-The Global Economic Awareness Project is a US-based nonprofit.
