Designed regenerative cooling system for RP-1/LOx engine, modeling performance in NASA CEA and fluid analysis in ANSYS.• Mentor members in the Torch Training Program, leading two teams of 4 in design and manufacturing of a custom torch igniter using Fusion 360 and NASA CEA.• Performed structural FEA (finite element analysis) on a 500-lbf engine using Ansys and Fusion 360 Simulation to validate component integrity under operational loads.• Modeled and sized O-ring channels for engine’s copper heatsink using Fusion 360, calculating thermal loads and stress concentrations to determine placement and ensure reliable sealing and containment.
