Since 2015, I’ve worked as a Software Engineer with over 10 teams, writing production code in various industries. By aligning with the unique sprint methodologies of each, I’ve compiled a versatile portfolio of project structure insights. I began programming in 2011 with Ableton and Max/MSP/Jitter. In 2014, I started building websites with WordPress.org. I earned a Master of Arts degree in Audio Technology in 2017 and have been writing JavaScript for over 6 years. My employment experiences have encompassed a spectrum of tech stacks, including Node, Next, React, Rails, and Java. Before using AI, I optimized a Webpack configuration in a Rails app with a decade of production use: I removed 52 network requests for 16.4MB of resources per saved code change, improving recompilation by 750ms and reducing up to 3.5GB of resources duplicated per engineer per workday. I brought the bundle latency for stylesheet edits from 8 seconds to 0 and eliminated up to 7 inputs required for replicating React state after saving changed code. I also helped fix a 15-second Docker build that made the development servers unusable up to 3 times per workday per machine. I\'m interested in principled methods for using AI while coding.
