ABOUT MATTEO NALINI

I am an Industrial Production Engineering student at Politecnico di Torino, currently completing a double degree in Business Administration at the Technological University of the Shannon (Ireland). My academic background combines quantitative rigor with a strong interest in finance, corporate valuation and investment analysis, supported by international academic and professional exposure.Alongside my studies, I am an Equity Research Associate with the Starting Finance Club PoliTo, where I conduct company and market analysis and contribute to research on listed firms. I have worked on equity research reports distributed to 300+ members, strengthening my ability to analyze businesses, structure investment theses and communicate financial insights clearly.For equity and company analysis, I leverage Advanced Excel to develop DCF models, conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis and perform financial statement analysis in support of valuation, comparables and investment analysis. My work emphasizes disciplined modeling, clean structure and assumption-driven outputs aligned with investment banking standards. I am also expanding my Python-based data analysis skills.Beyond finance, I have developed strong leadership, resilience and teamwork through competitive football in Italy and Canada, where I served as team captain and assistant coach, leading teams under pressure and driving performance improvements. I have further strengthened my finance and business skill set through courses and simulations in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, M&A, Financial Markets and Strategy, including programs with Goldman Sachs, J.P.
