I am a Full Professor of Business Management and Organization at the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano. With a passion for unlocking the potential of organizations through effective management strategies, I have dedicated my career to helping companies optimize their operations.One of my key skills is in Demand Management and Forecasting. By analyzing market trends and consumer behavior, and by leveraging on statistics and algorithm design, I help organizations to accurately predict future demand and make informed decisions to better allocate resources. This not only increases efficiency but also reduces costs and improves customer satisfaction.In addition, I specialized in Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing Strategy. I have worked with numerous organizations to streamline their supply chain processes, ensuring smooth operations from sourcing materials to delivering final products. My expertise in manufacturing strategy has enabled companies to adopt innovative methods and technologies, leading to increased productivity and competitiveness.More recently, I started addressing the challenges offered by Artificial Intelligence to Decision Making within complex organizations. Designing and implementing technological solutions in an organization can create virtuous cycles that can support decision making processes.In my future career moves, I aim to continue bridging the gap between academia and industry by collaborating on research projects that have a tangible impact on businesses and communities.
